The new line of Lapua 22 Rimfire ammunition comes highly recommended by none other than Mark Pharr... the top silhouette HP and SB rifle competitor, gun smith, and stock designer. At the 2009 Shot Show we had dinner with Mark and I asked him what he thought of the new Lapua 22 Ammo (Photo pictured front to back are: Mark Pharr, Eben and Jill Brown, and Jeannie Bolda of Lapua). Mark said he has shot a lot of the new Lapua ammo and is very impressed with its accuracy.   Using his fingers to illustrate group sizes Mark said the new Lapua X-ACT is top of the line and will shoot pretty much into the same .22 caliber hole with an accurate rifle and good marksmanship. The new Midas+ is not far behind with a .25 inch hole. And the new Center-X was shooting 3/8-1/2". These are the big three new 22 ammos that we've been wondering about since Lapua intro-duced them and I really got a lot out of sitting down with a champion like Mark to get an experienced and knowledgeable opinion.
