California Shipping Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
To our valued California customers,
Due to new California legislation (AB-1263 and SB-704) taking effect January 1, 2026, all orders shipping into California will be required to ship to a licensed FFL dealer.
Please understand that this is E. Arthur Brown Company's policy in order to comply while still providing CA customers service. At this time, we do not have the capacity to follow the rigorous steps CA law requires in order to ship to individuals.
We appreciate our CA customers. We strongly encourage you to continue to order barrels, parts and accessories through the eabco.com website, and we will help coordinate the shipping to your local gun store/FFL dealer.
What this means:
-
- All orders must ship to licensed Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs).
- EABCO must have a copy of the FFL prior to shipping order. We will update the order "Ship To" address to match the FFL.
- email copy of FFL to ffl@eabco.com
- All orders must ship to licensed Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs).
The new laws impose age-verification, documentation, and shipping requirements on many of the firearm parts and accessories we sell that make direct-to-consumer sales to California residents no longer feasible for us.
NOTE: According to California Civil Code Section 3273.51(e)(4), FFL-03 "Collector" licenses are not listed as exempt. The only FFL holders exempt from these verification requirements are:
- FFL-01 (Dealer)
- FFL-07 (Manufacturer)
California FFL Dealers: We want to work with you!
We want to ensure our California customers can still access the high-quality barrels and accessories they need. We already have a great selection of dealers in California, and will continue to add FFL dealers who are willing to facilitate orders for CA residents.
If you are a qualified FFL in California and are willing to help customers with EABCO orders, please reach out to us.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your business. This decision was not made lightly, but at this time, compliance with the new regulations leaves us no practical alternative.
If you have any questions or need help locating a California FFL, please contact us right away at sales@eabco.com or 800-950-9088.
