- Often, 350 Legend Barrels are threaded 9/16x24 to avoid mounting a 22 or 30 caliber brake. The exit hole has to allow clearance for the .357 caliber 350 Legend bullet. The easy answer for those who want to put a brake on their 350 Legend barrel is to just use a brake that's set up for a 40 caliber pistol round... Threaded 9/16x24 and featuring a .40 caliber exit hole.
- Our KAK 40 cal compensator is the same size as an A2 birdcage but is ported on top to reduce muzzle rise. The bottom is left blank so as not to kick up dust when shooting prone. During installation this brake needs to be timed so that the ports are on the top side. Gunsmiths with a lathe can time it by trimming down 1/1000th inch at a time.
