- The tuner is an adjustable muzzle weight. With it, you can precisely adjust the location/position of the weight to optimize the harmonics of your barrel and ammunition. The mounting body fits any pre-threaded 1/2x28 muzzle. The muzzle weight screws onto the mounting body. This allows the muzzle weight to adjust it's position forward and backward. The muzzle weight is 6.4 oz and has graduated markings that correlate with a micrometer scale on the mounting body... So that, you can precisely adjust the tuner, take note of the position, and repeat the setting for various shooting conditions.
