Description

Now you can hand-load your 30 caliber handgun or rifle to shoot hyper-velocity .224 caliber bullets! Fit the .224 bullets into our Sabots with the Sabot Bullet Seater die. Then load the sabots as you would any .308 caliber bullet. The Bullet seater die is required for consistent seating of bullets into the sabots… accuracy requires consistency! Shoot to 3,500 fps in a 30-30... 4,200 fps in a 30-06. Free Load Data is Included with Every Sabot Order! Sabots flower away from the bullet after exiting the muzzle. Made of injection molded plastic, sabots won't harm your barrel and bores are easy to clean with Hoppes #9.

    the 30.06, 300 win mag, and the 300 whby mag that I load for are doing quite well with the sabots.

    I ordered some of these 20 years ago the new ones are not the grey that is pictured . Now they are white and have a beveled base so they load easier . They also shoot better at 30-30 velocities the gray ones did not open well at 30-30 speeds .

    I bought these sabots for reduced recoil so my 9yr old could handle my rifle for deer season. I loaded these to the load data provided 4,200 fps for my 30.06 took it out and sighted them in at 50yards, I let my son take a few practice shots the weekend before the young sportsman hunt and the next weekend success! Thanks EABCO!

    I can't wait until I make some loads with these to see how they perform...unfortunately I was unaware or missed the part that advises they require a special die for seating.

    I didn’t fully understand how tight the tolerances are. Ordered each piece separately. I should have ordered everything together. The biller seater into the sabot is needed. Going by hand doesn’t give a full seat. Expander may be needed. Haven’t shot theses yet as I am waiting on powder. Don’t be discouraged by people on YouTube talking about bad groups. I have not seen anyone talk about gradually adjusting powder charges to zero the load. Sounds like everyone is going with a set charge. Load Data is shipped it’s the productThis is somewhat advanced but the journey is fun and exciting.

    These are fun to load . Get the case neck expander die when ordering. So far loaded some on my 308 and made 3100 fps with base load 41 grain imr 3031 . 55 grain fmj I used to sight in a new scope and no kick. Going to up powder charge now that I know what to do. Hopefully 4900 fps. Can't wait to see the results. Want to use for ground squirrel this spring .
