EABCO 17 HMR Barrel Out Shoots Best 17 HMR Rifles at 100 Yards
Recently Dwight B. put our new 17 HMR CZ-455/457 barrel to an Accuracy Test that beat the performance of the best 17 HMR rifles in the world. He shot THREE 5-shot groups at 100 yards... .588", .395", and .943"... The average of these three groups is .642".
Dwight referred us to a Chuck Hawks article online, .17 Rimfire Rifle Accuracy Test Results, where they compared the best twenty 17 HMR rifles, shooting the most accurate ammo each rifle preferred. There were Remington, Anschutz, Savage, Thompson Center, Ruger, Stevens, Winchester, etc... The finest target rifles in the world. And the best average 5 shot group at 100 yards was .690". Dwight's average with his CZ-455 and our EABCO Accuracy Barrel was .642"... Which breaks the record of all the rifles in the Chuck Hawks Article!
