The Zero-Stop is a hard mechanical option in the elevation turret that allows you to quickly return your scope to zero without looking, by "feel". After making elevation adjustments up, you just turn the turret back down until it stops... at zero. On the Nexus, it's and option so you can choose to use it or not at your preference.
