The Thompson/Center Contender family—including G1, G2, and SSK‑50 receivers—is celebrated for its modularity and precision. At EABCO, we stock an expansive selection of match‑grade barrels for these platforms—tested by long-range hunters, silhouette shooters, and wildcat builders alike.
Our EABCO Accuracy Barrel lineup includes pre‑fit barrels engineered for drop-in installation, as well as custom barrels in configurations ranging from .17 HMR to 45-70. Features include:
-True, center-to-center barrel turning at a rate that minimizes stress while keeping the bore in the middle,
-True, center-to-center chamber reaming insures centering and linear alignment of the chamber with the bore. Each chamber's headspace is checked and confirmed with gauges. --True, center-to-center 11° target crown, applied after finishing, insures that bullets exit the barrel with perfectly even gas pressure.
-SAAMI match-grade chambering with finish options including blued or stainless—all tailored for ultimate accuracy.

Yes, EABCO barrels are built to fit G1, G2 and SSK-50 receivers interchangeably with proper headspacing.
Do you chamber custom cartridges?
Yes, we offer approx 100 calibers as a custom option.
Are pre-fit barrels plug-and-play?
Yes, the beauty of the Contender is the ease with switching barrels. Simply pull the locking bolt out and replace the barrel. (be sure you have a compatible forend)
