The Hogue Pillar Bed stocks are a huge upgrade to your Savage rifle. They feature a full length bedding block made of a hard synthetic resin. The attachment points are embedded with crush proof aluminum pillars... (They won't compress like a wood stock). The barrel channel is free floated. And the recoil lug rests against a solid section of the bedding block. The result is that your action will have zero movement from shot to shot. All of this is over-molded with Hogue's textured synthetic rubber for a super comfortable rifle stock.

Fitting Tips
- SA means Short Action. LA means Long Action. Varmint means Heavy Barrel Contour. Standard means Standard Barrel Contour. Top Loading means internal Magazine. Detachable Mag means a removable external box magazine. Works with top and bottom bolt release models.
-The stock is a free float design. This means the barrel doesn't touch the stock when properly installed. Varmint means the stock will free float a wide, heavy Varmint contour barrel. Standard will free float a standard contour barrel. If you're unsure what you have, choose the Varmint contour stock. 
-Recommended Attachment Torque 55-65 in/lbs.
