    Great scope for the price

Posted by Wes on Apr 2nd 2022

I bought this scope to go on my Ruger American Rimfire .22lr rifle. After installing it, I sighted it in and was shooting sweetgum balls at 50 yds and steel poppers at 100+ yards with ease. Clarity is very good to my eye and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Free sunshade is nice, too - most other vendors did not offer that with the scope. Thanks EABCO!

    Best Optics for the Price

Posted by John Wesley on Dec 26th 2019

When I started to build my own 10/22's I went on-line to the rim-fire chat lines to get some information and much needed knowledge. What I noticed is that all the different chat rooms mentioned Mueller APV Scopes over and over in high praise. They also said you could purchase these fine scopes at E. Arthur Brown Co. I have bought four of these scopes so far and found the Mueller APV Scopes to be the best optics, especially for the price. Thank you.

I having purchased a Mueller 4.4-14x40 scope for my CZ 527 American .223. Mounted it in to the CZ factory rings with ease. Sighted it with a bore laser and get it on paper. First trip out at 50 yards was very clear and easy to adjust to get it on target. Deliver was right on time and for the cost a great scope.

    Mueller Scope

Posted by Joe on Aug 10th 2016

Having purchased a Mueller 4.4-14x40 scope for my Brown 97D chambered in 6.5 BRM I was anxious to develop a load to see what the combo was capable of. After sizing virgin 30-30 brass to 7-30 Waters then to 6.5 BRM I fire formed the brass using the COW method which left the shoulders slightly rounded. To complete the forming of the shoulders I again ran the cases through the 6.5 die and loaded them with 32.5 grains of V160 behind 140 gr SST bullets. The resultant 10 shot group was fired consecutively within a 15 minute window and the 9 shots following the first sighter fired from a clean barrel measured .690. What is noteworthy is, immediately prior to the range session a friend bumped the rifle while on the table. It dropped 36 to the floor impacting fully on the side of the Mueller scope. No adjustments were required to the scope due to the impact. I believe the Mueller optics proved to be rugged and reliable and the glass is clear and without distortion, even on 14 power. My one criticism is that the scope would be even better if it had side parallax adjustments rather than on the bell. But for the price, it can't be beat. When adjusted to 100 yds the existing configuration keeps the scope clear and parallax free from 50 yds to infinity. Can't beat that! (The second picture shows the exit path of the 140 gr bullet on 3/8 steel at 100 yds.) Joe P. Licensed full-time Professional Gunsmith
