This flat-sided stainless steel receiver is compatible with TC G1/G2 barrels, grips, stocks, and EABCO parts, offering versatility for custom builds as a carbine, rifle, handgun, shotgun, or muzzleloader. Light, thin, and reliable, the SSK-50 maintains the legacy of the Contender while setting a new standard for consistency. Note: Requires FFL for purchase.

* The SSK-50 is produced to the nominal geometry specifications of the last iteration of the Thompson Center Contender with extreme precision and low variation. This new frame sets a benchmark for consistency. That said, the old design was not nearly as consistent so, there MAY be some older Contender barrels/after-market barrel brands that won't function in this new SSK-50 frame.
