Hydrotac Stick-On Bifocals - Reading Lenses for Eye Glasses

These were the perfect solution for me going to the range.. They attached easily to my shooting glasses and voila ! My iron sights were in focus again …

These worked so well I bought a second pair. They are cheaper than getting your Rx milled into the lense. They go inside of the regular lense so they are less noticeable. My vision experts said that the bifocal lense should be 1mm below my bottom lid. I made them move it lower...it still is in the way. With the add a lense I put them way low and only notice them when I look down to use then. After a day or so of drying the added lense is solid and going no where. Even when first applied it is not coming off but can be moved around fora few hours..once dry it is on there for good.. just don't get them wet. I highly recommend this.

They worked well. The lenses I applied them to have a high curvature. It is trickier to apply them. Tricky as in do not follow the instructions. Just flood the lenses with hot tap water, then flood the lenses. Then apply. I think the added warmth helps the product form to the lens. I also just cut them down from the top, where the lens is thickest and is stiffest. The cutting was mainly to reduce the active area of the lens so it I only used it when threading a hook, etc.. But cutting also helped the lens form to the host lens. I believe these new lenses are thinner and more flexible than the originals I bought 5+ years ago. I am glad I bought them and can turn great polarized lenses into readers.
