- Designed for accuracy in structure as well as shootability, this graceful riflestock fits modern short action Savage Rifles.

- Shade Varies- The thumbhole styling flows into a graceful pistol grip and raised cheek rest that are beautiful as well as extremely comfortable for proper eye alignment with scopes. The forend is wide for solid benchrest shooting and, its ventilated to keep as cool as possible. Pachmyr Decelerator recoil pad is standard and contributes to accuracy. Front and rear Swivel studs are included for either a sling and/or a bipod. Length of Pull (LOP) is ~13¾". Overall Stock Length is 33".

- Pillar Bedding and Other Hardware: These stocks come with bedding pillars. Pillar bedding gives the most rigid, accuracy enhancing connection to riflestocks on bolt action rifles. Other hardware needed are your original trigger guard, bottom metal, and mounting screws. These are not included with this stock because its designed to use the ones from your original stock. If you have a plastic stock with molded-in mag well and/or trigger guard, we have a plastic mag well and metal trigger guard you can order separately to use with this stock.

- Barrel Channeled to Fit 12FV Barrel Contour:  These stocks come with the barrel channel cut to fit a factory Savage 12FV barrel contour. This is the same as our EABCO Savage Accuracy Barrels contour. It's a heavy varmint style that contours to .800" at the muzzle (26"). This barrel channel fits barrels that size or smaller without any modifications. Barrels with a wider contour will need to have the barrel channel widened (Call... We can do this for you at additional cost).

- Fitting Information: - Shade VariesFits original Savage Short Action Model 10 with Detachable Mag Bottom Metal. Use your bottom metal in this new stock. If you're original stock is molded plastic and you have no bottom metal, order our plastic mag well 041-109400. And if you also need a trigger guard, order our metal trigger guard 041-105417. This stock will NOT fit the Savage detachable magazine rifles with the Accurate-Mag bottom metal that uses the AI magazine (see photo above). Also does not fit the Savage "Target" action or WSM actions.
- This stock WILL fit detachable magazine rifles with the bolt release located on the bottom of the rifle OR on the top side. Please scroll thru the pictures above for important fitting info.
- Intended for "Drop-In" fit but, (as with any new stock) some minor fitting (inlet sanding, etc.) for perfect clearance may be necessary. We'll be happy to do this for you at no labor charge if you send your rifle in with your stock order (You pay shipping).
