ORYX Chassis Stock fits Rem 700 SA/RH - OD Green

I'm building a Rem 700. Factory tactical barrel, 20 inch. This stock fits perfectly with plenty of free floating barrel room.It feels perfect while shooting. Hand grip is perfect size for me. Trigger is not a reach at all. I have both a Trigger tech and Geissele trigger and both fit perfect with safety. One of my favorite things about this stock is the handle on the butt for your left/free hand while shooting. It's a little thing but I really like it. I get a lot of compliments while shooting. The magazine dose not insert quickly but this is not the type of rifle you need that for. I like that the magazine is properly/securely placed so there is less chance of malfunction/misfeeds. I would definitely recommend this.

I purchased a Oryx stock to convert my Rem. 700 ADL .223 into a format to use AICS magazines. The stock is a piece of art and is straight as a arrow and solid. I added two spacers to the butt stock to make the length of pull fit my shoulder. The grip is different from a conventional MSR (AR) grip but I like the palm swell and the thumb rest area. The barrel floats with plenty of air space including the M-Lok slots under the barrel channel allowing more air to cool the barrel. The only issue I found is when it's time to clean my barrel. I like to use a Possum Hollow or Dewey bore guide to protect my chamber and bore. In order to make the bore guide fit I have to remove the cheek riser. Not that big of a deal because the support rods on the cheek riser slip back down into the stock without issue. Wasn't sure if I'd like the OD green side panels but now that it's all together the rifle looks really nice. The MDT magazines fit snug in the magwell and feed each round smoothly without issue. Very nice stock to transform my Rem. ADL into a modern bolt action magazine fed rifle. I recommend this product.
