Bluing very good. Rifling starts .040 sooner than stock Savage from case head. Rifling tighter on bullet than stock Savage. My Savage made in 1988 when in bankrupt court. Worried disgruntled employee losing job might have worked on my Savage. Accuracy much better with different OAL 55 grain VMAX. Wrench supplied very good quaility. Headspace was easy for me using a bench mount barrel vise, mounted in an eight inch bench vise. Took 3 strong blows with 3 lb hammer to break nut loose. Used 2 blows with same hammer to tighten barrel nut. No damage to wrench at all.

First time Rifle barrel Swap. Built a Barrel vise and used leather to hold the barrel. Came out perfectly with the wrench provided in the kit. New Barrel installation was a snap and the head space Go/NoGo gauges made fit up easy. Recommend for anyone with a little mechanical ability and access to a barrel vise.Funny, leather kept slipping in the vise I had used as an insertt so doused it and the oak with carb cleaner and tightened while wet and 1 tap on the wrench it was loose.

Excellent quality and accuracy. This is my second eabco barrel.

Easy install and a straight shooter. 1/2 MOA off bypod at 100 yrds but im sure someone with better eyes could do better.

Everything came the way they said and the barrel have fit the savage axis when i installed it.just waiting on brass to reload and then we will c how good it groups.

Nice barrel. Shoots well. A challenge to get it torqued to specs.

Love this barrel, very accurate

The new barrel worked perfect. I pulled the old barrel off of a garage sale junker and had the new barrel on in short time. Got the rifle all trained up the next day and it's a better shooter than I am. Easy swap out, you do need a barrel vise ( I used my hydraulic press) and a couple of myrtlewood blocks drilled out and split in half. A very easy swap out. LJJ

perfect fit, finish an excellent match to my Receiver, impressive accuracy. I will be purchasing more barrels in other calibers.
