Here's Why They're Accurate:
Precision Barrel Blanks - An EABCO barrel blank is precision gun drilled from the best Chromoly and Stainless steel alloys. Bore dimensions are reamed consistent to airgauge within .0002" (2/10,000ths) of proper bore dimension. These are then Two-Pass button rifled in the various twist rates we offer to suit particular accuracy requirements. These blanks are the foundation of our process.

One at a Time Barrel Making - True, center-to-center barrel turning at a rate that minimizes stress while keeping the bore in the middle. True, center-to-center chamber reaming insures centering and linear alignment of the chamber with the bore. Each chamber's headspace is checked and confirmed with gauges. True, center-to-center 11ø target crown, applied after finishing, insures that bullets exit the barrel with perfectly even gas pressure. (You can tell an EABCO Accuracy Barrel by the bright metal crown).

Chambering Philosphy - We try to offer our TC Accuracy Barrels® in chambers with the best potential for accuracy. We don't ride the outer edges of the frame's capacity (no big magnums, short magnums, etc.). And we lean toward chambers and twist rates that are already proven accurate.

Free Bore Paste - Bore Paste assures sufficient cleaning of carbon and copper fouling for the quickest and most trouble free barrel break-in as well as keeping your barrel match accuracy clean. It's the choice of serious shooters....Complete Instructions Included.

Beautiful TC barrel. After your break in recommendations, I tried several test loads. All loads/bullet weight shot excellent. Seems to like 130 grain Berger hybrid with 39. 5 hrs of H4350

The eabco accuracy barrel is perfect, so perfect it's making hand loads hard to build. I love it and thank you for the great service.

The encore barrel you sent be is awesome. After breaking in with 20 rounds.. put 3 Berger 105 gr. In same hole. Last Friday took a 10 point whitetail with neck shot at 380 yds. Berry happy guys. Thank you.

    great barrel, fantastic CS

Still seasoning the barrel, but it is already shooting far better than my factory barrel. The real reason I am leaving a review, however, is to say that the customer service at EABCO is absolutely the best. I had a problem that was 100 % my fault and these kind folks were 100% accommodating in taking care of my problem. I will definitely be a repeat customer and highly recommend them!

Excellent quality barrel. Sighted in with four shots. Grouping less than 1/2 inch at 100 yards. Shot about three inches lower than chart at 300 yards using EABCO loaded ammo. I am very happy with purchase.

Ok, I just zeroed my T/C Pro Hunter Blue Rifle Frame w/Flextech Stock, TC Encore Accuracy Barrel with the JP Howitzer Brake installed, and TC Encore and Contender G2 Action Job or Trigger Job. I completed my zero by shooting nine round at the 200 yd target. My last shot group of three rds placed two through the same hole and were dead X!!! I love my New T/C Pro Hunter with the TC Encore Accuracy Barrel and I highly recommend it.

Shot was 342... Buck Dropped in his Tracks!

Posted by D Bedingfield on Jan 19th 2015

I don't as a rule share my hunting experiences but thought I would make an exception. I am very impressed with the Encore pro hunter in 6.5 BRM. Here is a picture of a nice South Dakota mule deer I shot November 22, 2014. Shot was 342 yards. Buck dropped in his tracks. I was shooting your 140 grain ammo. Gun scoped with your Brown 4x -12x variable. I greatly enjoy hunting with this weapon.

Hunting Deer with My 6.5 BRM Encore Rifle

Posted by MC on Dec 29th 2014

I have killed three deer this season, all with the 6.5. One dropped in its tracks, the other two did not run over 20 yards! The 6.5 BRM is super sweet. I always like to shoot my deer in the chest. Bow hunters try to place shots a few inches behind the shoulder in order to puncture both lungs. I have found that they never run more than 30 yards. The first deer I killed with my 6.5 this year (I bought the gun at the end of last years deer season so I was not able to try it out then!) was shot real tight behind the shoulder. It dropped like a sack of stones! The other deer and the buck I sent you, were shot a little behind the shoulder. Both lungs were hit and they only ran a very few yards. I never had to track an animal!! I eat what I kill and most people around here consider the shoulder a waste. I use the shoulder as roast or grind them. I figure the more of the meat I can preserve the more in my freezer. It is that reasoning that steers me towards a double lung (chest shot). I have buddies that poke fun at me because I am not shooting a 7mag or at the very least, a 270! I call them every time I kill a deer and my opening comment is always MY 6.5 DOES NOT PLAY!!! Mr. Brown, I am very happy with the 6.5 BRM. The rifle yall put together is not only beautiful but functional! The deer were killed anywhere from 50 to 100 yards. I have every confidence that I can take deer out to 300 yards with a 200 yard zero. Where I live you won't ever get a shot much further than that. I love the rifle, it is fun to shoot, very accurate and I would be glad for you to use ANY comments I have made or any pictures I have sent in my correspondence with you!
