- At long last we can once again offer 6.5 BRM brass custom formed from virgin 30-30 brass. This is the original brass that built the reputation of 6.5 Benchrest Magnum (6.5 BRM). 
- Economically Priced in Bags of 50 Pieces... Custom, fully formed reloading brass for 6.5mm BRM fits Model 97D Rifles and other guns chambered for the EABCO 6.5mm BRM cartridge. This is "wildcat" brass, formed from virgin (unfired) 30-30 brass using our secret process that results in a fully formed shoulder and full case capacity. The headstamp still reads 30-30 but this brass is only to be used in 6.5mm BRM chambers. Load this brass with Forster Custom 6.5mm BRM reloading dies.

FYI... If you want to try forming your own 6.5 BRM brass: Start with new, unfired 30-30 brass by Starline, Winchester or Remington. Full length size in 7-30 Waters sizing die. Then full length size with the 6.5 BRM sizing die. Finish by fire-forming. We do not have fire-forming instructions nor fire-forming load data because we use a non-firing method to fully form our EABCO 6.5 BRM brass.

Why we use UN-fired 30-30... Because fired brass usually comes from a 30-30 rifle with a looser fitting chamber and the web of those expanded cases often can't be re-sized enough to fit the 6.5 BRM chamber. UN-fired brass comes with a proper sized web that fits 6.5 BRM chamber dimensions.

Why 30-30 and not 38-55... Because 38-55 is tempered for lower, black powder pressures and the primer pockets get loose... We tried it when we couldn't find anything else to make our 6.5 BRM brass from.

Why Remington, Winchester, and now Starline... During the 30-30 brass shortages, we tried alternatives but the brass did not behave the same. For example PPU brass changed the behavior of our load data significantly. Remington and Winchester brands are what 6.5 BRM was developed from. Starline 38-55 behaved exactly the same except for the primer pockets getting loose. Starline 30-30 is the right pressure and load performance is the same as Remington and Winchester.
