Savage Accuracy Barrel® 243 Winchester 1:8

  • Fits Savage 10/110 Series Rifles
  • Fits Savage Axis Short and Long Action Rifles
  • 243 Win uses a 308 Win Bolt Face
  • 26" length, weight approx 3lbs
  • Varmint weight tapered to just under .800" diameter at muzzle
  • Bore dimensions reamed consistent to airgauge within .0002 (2/10,000ths) of proper bore dimension.
  • We use the best Chromoly steel alloys.
  • Two-Pass button rifled
  • One-at-a-time barrel making process for superb accuracy
Threaded to fit the Savage Short Action 10, 11, 12, 14, 16 and Long Action 110, 111, 112, 114, 116 series bolt action center fire rifles including the Stevens 200 of identical pattern and Savage Axis Edge. Our barrels do NOT fit rifles with barrels stamped, "110L" nor WSM and Target actions.

Chromoly steel, blue finish. Be sure to order a chamber that matches your existing bolt face. Or, order our Bolt Face Conversion Service and you'll be able to convert to ANY of our chambers. There are Two Ways to Order Barrels:

One-at-a-Time Barrel Making- True, center-to-center barrel turning at a rate that minimizes stress while keeping the bore in the middle. True, center-to-center chamber reaming insures centering and linear alignment of the chamber with the bore. True, center-to-center 11° target crown, applied after finishing, insures that bullets exit the barrel with perfectly even gas pressure. (The bright metal crown is a Trademark of E.     I bought this barrel for a budget long range build I was doing for fun on an Axis platform. So far I have around 150 rounds down range and after fire lapping, polishing and a little loaded development it’s consistently producing .25 MOA at 200 yards with 87 gr V Max’s flying at 3175 FPS over RL19. The setup is an Axis with this barrel, Rifle basix SAV 1 trigger, Boyd’s AT1 thumb hole and has been pillared and bedded.

    barrel is of excellent quality capable of one hole groups. Would highly recommend, well worth cost.

    This barrel is amazing, I was not expecting much. It gave me quarter inch five shot group's at 100 yards with factory 75 grain ammo. The only downside is it's a little tough to clean at first, but it shoots just as good as my $500 match barrels!

    Ordered the 243 Savage accuracy barrel. So far the barrel is showing great potential with several different loads. Hard to beat for the money.

    I received the barrel and it installed with ease. Followed break in in procedure and it has one of the tightest groups that I've used in the past. Good product.

    Very good product, the kit is a great idea. I would like to suggest that EABCO add a new barrel nut to every kit they only cost about $10.00 and I would gladly pay the extra for the convenience. In my opinion the nut should be replaced with every new barrel. The barrel I bought 6.5X284Norma shoots extremely well getting 5 shot groups at 100 yards with all 5 holes touching when shooting my reloads. At 300 yards I am getting 2 inch groups. Thanks EABCO for a great product.
