Savage Accuracy Barrel® 6.5x47 Lapua 1:8

  • 26" length, weight 4lbs 7.8oz
  • Varmint weight tapered to just under .800" diameter at muzzle
  • Standard Small Shank
  • Bore dimensions reamed consistent to airgauge within .0002 (2/10,000ths) of proper bore dimension.

Threaded to fit the Savage Short Action 10, 11, 12, 14, 16 and Long Action 110, 111, 112, 114, 116 series bolt action center fire rifles including the Stevens 200 of identical pattern. Our barrels do NOT fit barrels stamped, "110L" nor WSM and Target actions. For Savage Edge/Axis barrel fitting info, please scroll down.

One-at-a-Time Barrel Making- True, center-to-center barrel turning at a rate that minimizes stress while keeping the bore in the middle. True, center-to-center chamber reaming insures centering and linear alignment of the chamber with the bore. True, center-to-center 11° target crown, applied after finishing, insures that bullets exit the barrel with perfectly even gas pressure. (The bright metal crown is a Trademark of E. Arthur Brown Company).

Edge/Axis Fitting Information - Original Savage "Edge" Rifles were renamed "Axis". Receiver barrel threads on Axis rifles are the same as EABCO 10/110 Accuracy Barrel threads but they are different rifle models. If you're ordering a barrel for a Savage "Edge" or "Axis" rifle, we recommend you send your rifle in and pay the extra $30 for installation plus $65 to re-channel your forend to fit the barrel contour. Again, Edge/Axis is a different receiver than the 10/110 series... It will not fit the same stocks as the 10/110 series rifles, for example.

    I always wanted a 6.5x47 but I never could afford one. I had a Savage Model 10T in 308 that I rebarreled. I must say I am not the only one that was impressed with it. The guys at the gun range can't believe how well it shoots as well. If I ever need another barrel I know where to go.

    I received the barrel and it installed with ease. Followed break in in procedure and it has one of the tightest groups that I've used in the past. Good product.

    I bought a Savage model 10 in 223 Remington because it was a great deal. Thanks to the staff recommendations at EABCO, it is now a 6.5x47 Lapua. I could not be happier. As my hunting gun, this thing hits like a freight train. For precision, 5/8 5 hot group at 200y. Best of all worlds. Thanks!

    Very good product, the kit is a great idea. I would like to suggest that EABCO add a new barrel nut to every kit they only cost about $10.00 and I would gladly pay the extra for the convenience. In my opinion the nut should be replaced with every new barrel. The barrel I bought 6.5X284Norma shoots extremely well getting 5 shot groups at 100 yards with all 5 holes touching when shooting my reloads. At 300 yards I am getting 2 inch groups. Thanks EABCO for a great product.

    I have put about 150 rounds thru this 6.5x47 Lapua barrel and I am very impressed. This is a sub MOA barrel with a couple of groups so far being under a half MOA for a 5 shot group. We recommend to anyone and may even pick up another caliber.
