EABCO CZ-457 Accuracy Barrel® 17 HMR - 24" Stainless Steel

Upgrade your CZ 457 or 455 with our precision-engineered 24" stainless steel barrel, featuring our EABCO Match 17HMR chamber, 1:9 twist rate, and a heavy contour that tapers from .860" to .820". Designed for exceptional accuracy at 100 yards, this barrel provides added mass for stability and reduced vibration, an 11 degree Taraget Crown, and non-threaded muzzle (as preferred by accuracy lovers). It's the ideal barrel for target and varmint shooting. Fits both CZ 455 and CZ-457 rifles. Recommended torque: 20-30 inch pounds.

Record Breaking 17 HMR Accuracy: Recently Dwight B. put our new 17 HMR CZ-455/457 barrel to an Accuracy Test that beat the performance of the best 17 HMR rifles in the world. He shot THREE 5-shot groups at 100 yards... .588", .395", and .943"... The average of these three groups is .642". 

Dwight referred us to a Chuck Hawks article online, .17 Rimfire Rifle Accuracy Test Results, where they compared twenty 17 HMR rifles, shooting the most accurate ammo each rifle preferred. There were Remington, Anschutz, Savage Thompson Center, Ruger, Stevens, Winchester, etc... The finest target rifles in the world. And the best average 5 shot group at 100 yards was .690".
