EABCO CZ-457 Accuracy Barrel®

This barrel has a SAAMI Match 22LR Chamber*; 1:16 Twist; 24" length, heavy contour, and closed breech... Over the years, these are the features that have delivered our best 100 Yard Accuracy. (Our experience comes from making hundreds of heavy contour rimfire barrels for the closed breech TC Contender.)

This new CZ-457 barrel tapers from .860 at the receiver to .820 at the muzzle. The heavier weight gives added mass for a steadier hold. The taper helps to dampen vibration and simulates the contour and length of a centerfire PRS rifle. And the 24" length assures Subsonic bullet stability. Excellent for Target and Varmint shooting as well as PRS22. Suggested torque: 20-30 inch pounds.

* The SAAMI "Match" chamber fits closer than sporting chambers. And, the bullets actually engrave into the rifling when you chamber a round. For this reason, you may find that some ammo will fit tighter than others... Making it harder to chamber a round and also difficult to remove an unfired round. Use only good quality ammunition. We recommend Lapua and SK brands... Lapua Super Long Range 22 LR ammo was used exclusively in the testing of this barrel.
