- These brakes feature a large expansion chamber that compresses muzzle gases so they’ll accelerate as they exit the ports. No ports on the bottom… no kicked up dust. Recoil is reduced approximately 42-45%... eliminates muzzle rise on chamberings up to 45 cal. Finished Blue. These fit muzzle diameters from .530 to .850 inch and add approx. 1" to barrel length. Outside Diameter is .940" and tapers to .815". Installation includes blending the taper to smaller diameter muzzles and finishing. Threads are 5/8-24 and 1/2-28.
